Xerafy Healthcare unveiled its award-winning surgical instrument tracking solutions at this week’s IAHCSMM 2018 Annual Conference & Expo held in Phoenix, Arizona, which attracted more than 1,400 Central Sterile Professionals worldwide.
Xerafy team demonstrated its full Surgical Instrument Tracking (SIT) solution to the warm audience, showing how the solution connects all stakeholders in a streamlined workflow, providing each of them with unprecedented visibility at item-level instrument tracking.
Feedback from the audience highlighted the market leadership for Xerafy’s Surgical Instrument Tracking (SIT) solution as the first one in the marketplace to truly deliver accuracy for manual counts and provide automated real-time data capture in SPD and the O.R.
“It’s exciting to see the strong demand for next-gen SIT solution, with a large number of end-users now eager to leave behind the shortcomings of barcode-based tracking.” Said Wayne Herdell, Healthcare Director at Xerafy, who had in-depth conversations with the visitors to Xerafy booth at the expo.
Besides the full solution demo, Xerafy also featured a range of hardwares uniquely available to retrofit an existing setup and make it smart, as well as a variety of attachment methods suited to most instruments and devices, applicable at point-of-care or at point-of-manufacture.
The unveiled Xerafy Healthcare SIT solution has been recognized by renowned analyst firm Frost & Sullivan, which awarded the company the winner of its 2017 Global RFID Surgical Instrument Tracking New Product Innovation Award. Stay tuned for more from the firm regarding new announcements.
