Xerafy Healthcare will launch its award-winning automated instrument management solution at the upcoming IAHCSMM 2018 conference.

Xerafy will demonstrate its RFID-based automated instrument management solution at the upcoming International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) Conference April 30 to May 1 in Phoenix, Arizona. This marks the sixth year that Xerafy has been an active part of the conference.

You will find our team demonstrating our RFID solutions for medical device and surgical instrument tracking in Booth 107. Just as we did at last year’s event in Nashville, Xerafy will present solutions that support healthcare standards and the FDA’s Unique Device Identifier (UDI) requirements for medical device traceability.

IAHCSMM draws thousands of central sterile department professionals from hundreds of healthcare organizations to receive updated training and tools for managing sterilization processes and device inventories.

There will also be a number of educational sessions about surgical instrument maintenance, sterilization and tracking. These include a series of pre-conference labs and hands-on workshops covering best practices, as well as sessions on standards updates, quality management, and new sterilization techniques.

Xerafy offers RFID-based surgical tracking solutions that can help maintain accurate sterilization records, reduce the risk of hospital infections, save money and increase compliance for healthcare providers. RFID can help automate manual tray and instrument counts, reduce the loss of medical devices (and unnecessary purchases), improve device utilization, and eliminate bottlenecks in the operating room.

Stay tuned for our upcoming newsletters to learn more details about IAHCSMM 2018, and Xerafy’s continued innovations in the surgical instrument tracking market.
