Xerafy will be exhibiting at Euro ID 2012, the first time the company has attended this auto-id show. The show will run from Tuesday, April 24 to Thursday, April 26 at the Messe Berlin.
Like at RFID Journal LIVE!, we will be showing off our newly released Metal Skin RFID on metal inlay. We will also have many of our ATEX-certified X II and iN series tag on display, as well as the XS Dot and Dash, the smallest ruggedized metal tag in the world.
We will be demonstrating the versatility and conversion capabilities of the Metal Skin inlay and printing converted smart labels from a standard Zebra label printer.
Our European partner TECTUS, who worked with us to ATEX certify the X II and iN Series tags will also be at the show. We encourage everyone stop by and visit us next week. We are located at booth #C3.
Last week’s RFID journal LIVE! 2012 Show was really cool for Xerafy in many ways. For starters, we literally had the “coolest” demo, featuring our XL high memory tags tracking airplane composite material in a freezer with dry ice. The vapors pouring out from the demo brought in lots of guests and amazed several people who didn’t know our tags could handle -40°F to +482°F temperatures. Many thanks to our partner, OATSystems, who helped staff the demo and answer questions on how to track aircraft parts across their full lifecycle, from initial manufacture through time in service. This year we are taking our products and demos to the extreme level with award winning products and coolest demos at the world’s largest RFID conference, RFID Journal LIVE!. The world’s smallest passive UHF EPC C1G2 metal tags, the XS Series, has been named “Best in Show” Finalist for 2012 Annual RFID Journal Awards. In addition, we have two displays in our booth up for the coolest demo award. Here’s what you can expect to see at our booth:
Extreme High Memory Nominated for Coolest Demo Award
Xerafy and partner OATSystems have built a demonstration based on real customer applications of extreme RFID by tracking aircraft component parts and aviation composite materials stored within an operating freezer with Xerafy’s high-memory UHF RFID XL tags. The demonstration will show how OATSystem’s Work-in-Process Tracking and ATA Spec 2000 software, chosen for the Airbus 350 XWB Supplier Program, track aircraft parts across their full lifecycle, from initial manufacture through time in service.
